The Miss Universe Guam pageant will be showcasing its main event in January 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Guam.
Contestants will compete for the chance to be crowned the next Miss Universe Guam 2018, and represent the island at the 67th Miss Universe competition.
The location of this event will be announced at a later time.
Students from the University of Guam have competed in this event in the past.
Last year, Muñeka Joy Taisipic, a current UOG student majoring in pre-physical therapy, was crowned Miss Universe Guam.
The directors of Miss Universe Guam are still in the process of recruiting eligible competitors.
There are no entrance fees to compete in the event.
Contestants will have a chance to win a car from Auto Spot and also travel the world if they win the title.
