Tour of Guam 2017

The Guam Cycling Federation will host the 10th Annual Guam Tour on Dec.10.

The race is Guam’s most prestigious cycling event attracting cyclist from overseas. Showtime starts at 5 a.m. and go time will begin at 6 a.m.

The competitive friendship tournament will showcase some of the toughest hills in the region and consist of teams from Tokyo Japan and the CNMI.

Cyclists will travel up to 4,000 feet of elevation through the central and southern parts of Guam. Participants have the option to race the short course of 42 kilometers or the long course of 105 kilometers.

Early registration will cost $60 for Guam Cycling Federation (GCF) members and $70 for non-members before 5 p.m. on Nov. 3. The fee will then be raised $10 each until 5p.m. Dec.7.

Each racer will receive an official race shirt and bag filled with gifts from race sponsors. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three long course finishers in the male and female open elite category ranging from $250 to $1,000.
