The Guam Visitors Bureau will be holding the Guam Ko\u2019Ko’ Road Races\u00a0on Oct. 30.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will take place at the Gov. Joseph F. Flores Memorial Park or Ypao Beach Park in Tumon. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The Guam Ko\u2019Ko’ Road Race brings in thousands of runners from the US, Asia, and CNMI. It will feature the island\u2019s elite half-marathon and Ekiden relay.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event includes three different courses: a half-marathon, a four-person Ekiden relay, and the newly added 10k run\/walk.<\/span><\/p>\n

All races start and end at the Gov. Joseph F. Flores Memorial Park with prep time at 3 a.m. The half-marathon course covers 13.1 miles and the relay race course totals 5 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each race course features picturesque views of Tumon, Tamuning, Asan, and Hagatna. <\/span><\/p>\n

With the Ko\u2019Ko’ Road Race taking place during all Hallows\u2019 Eve, a costume contest will also be held for the most original, best superhero, and scariest costumes.\u00a0<\/span>Pre-race bags will be distributed and a dance number will be performed to keep the event lively.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
