Just in time for the election season, the University of Guam Theater will present \u201cElection Day,\u201d a play by Josh Tobiessen, beginning Sept. 29. <\/span><\/p>\n

The play follows Adam, who, urged by his politically minded girlfriend, has to vote. However, when Adam comes into contact with three individuals – a radical ecoterrorist, a mayoral candidate willing to do anything for a vote, and his sister, he discovers that voting might be more complicated than he thought. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about all the craziness that ends up happening on that day,\u201d said Michael Slane, UOG assistant professor of theater, and the show\u2019s technical director and set designer. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m and showtimes will be at 7 p.m on Sept. 29 to Oct. 1. Matinee showings will also be available. On Sept. 30, the play will be held at 9 a.m. and from Oct. 1 to 2, it will be shown at 2 p.m. at the UOG Fine Arts Theater.<\/p>\n

General admission will be $10. Students and senior citizens pay $7.50. <\/span>
