The John F. Kennedy High School men’s soccer team maintains their undefeated streak as they won against the Okkodo High School men’s soccer team on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
The JFK Islanders vs. Okkodo Bulldogs men’s soccer game took place from 6 to 8pm at JFK’s Ramsey Field in Upper Tumon.
The Islanders have won 9 games total with 0 losses, upholding their undefeated title for this season.
JFK soccer team coach, Eladio Manansala always encourages his team with advice and a pre- game ritual. Before every game, coach Manansala gathers his team to remind them to always be prepared for anything and to never underestimate the opponent.
John P. Halili, a sophomore at JFK who has been playing soccer for 8 years, believes that they will remain undefeated as he notices his team has been improving with every game.
“I’m confident about making it to finals but our team still needs improvement. We may be number 1, but it doesn’t mean we are unstoppable,” Halili stated.
With only 2 games left in the regular season, the team is edging near finals but are hopeful that they will remain undefeated.
