UOG Center for Island Sustainability annual conference

UOG CIS is raising environmental awareness through its 11th UOG Conference on Sustainability from March 31 to April 3 at the Hyatt Regency Guam.

This year’s theme is “Island Wisdom for a Global Future.” 

UOG President Thomas W. Krise serves as the conference’s co-chair alongside Guam Gov. Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero and will be overseeing the event.

Keynote speakers are Henk Rogers, founder of the Blue Planet Foundation in Hawaii, and Celeste Connors, executive director of Hawai’i Green Growth.

Early general registration for the conference is limited to the first 100 registrants. Early registration for K-12 teachers, UOG faculty and GCC faculty is limited to the first 50 registrants. Both early registrations close on March 28.

Discounts are available to students and non-profit organization members. General registration closes on April 2.
