The University of Guam’s is holding its annual conference on Island Sustainability . The theme of the conference being “Island Wisdom for a Global Future.” The conference begins at 4:30 PM on Tuesday March 31 2020, and is being held at the Hyatt Regency Guam.

This conference will focus on green economic development on the island and also advancing renewable energy around the world. Climate change and its impact on the region, will also be the main focus.

Featured participants such as Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and  President of the University of Guam Dr. Thomas W. Krise, will be attending this conference. 

Guest speakers include Kate Brown, the executive director of  “Global Islands Partnership.” will be giving speeches on Island Sustainability.
